Canoe EVents at Paris 2024 OLympics

The Olympic Games is world’s pinnacle sporting event, and there are two exciting paddling disciplines taking place in Paris over the next two weeks, after the Opening Ceremony on Saturday morning (NZT) gets the 38th Olympiad underway.

Canoe Slalom will be held in the first week, starting on Sunday 28th July through to Saturday 6th August. New Zealand have two Canoe Slalom athletes racing in Paris, both competing in the Kayak Slalom and Kayak Cross events.

Canoe sprint events will take place in the 2nd week of the Games, starting Tuesday 6th August (evening NZT) through to Saturday 10th August. At Paris 2024, New Zealand will have its largest canoe sprint team in history, who will be proudly wearing the silver fern and hoping to add to NZ’s Olympic success in the sport.
